I was born and raised in Kansas where I competed in gymnastics for 17 years up through Level 10. I received a full scholarship to compete at NC State after high school, but decided to transition to coaching instead after my freshman year. I love to incorporate fun and challenging games into practice to help keep things interesting, and I love to be silly with the girls! My years of training and competing in gymnastics in an environment that was like my second home have inspired me to help each young gymnast to truly believe in herself so she is able to reach her full potential. When I am not coaching, I love to draw and spend time with my two dogs, Blu and Bonnie. I just had my first child too, her name is Charlie!
